Original mandala artwork by Ramona Snow Teo. This snowy owl image was inspired by a dream vision of a giant snowy owl flying down toward me with a glowing moon behind it. Owl symbolism is associated with darkness, ancient wisdom, mystery, magic and the moon. The geometric patterns behind the moon are inspired by the mysterious and beautiful designs found in crop circles, specifically the Quetzalcoatl Native Headdress Crop Circle found at Silbury Hill, England on July 5th, 2009. It is said to represent the Eagle of the North and the Condor of the South coming together in unity.
