Natural & Healing Properties of Selenite: A form of gypsum crystal, selenite is naturally formed on every continent in the world. It is a soft & easy to carve stone, partially translucent & white in color, with long striations running the length of its form. Selenite is named after the Greek goddess of the moon, Selene. It has a stabilizing, balancing and cleansing energy, and is a useful aid in accelerating the process of manifestation. A selenite crystal can be used to comb the energy field of a person, place or object to remove lingering negativity, anxiety or trauma and restore clarity and tranquility. This powerful stone brings clarity of mind and activates the seventh chakra, Sahasrara, which is our direct link to the Spirit. Meditating with selenite can assist in connecting with your higher-self, spirit guides, angels, spirit animals, etc. Place your selenite under your pillow at night so that you can better absorb its energy and knowledge.
About the Artwork:
(Excerpt from The Jade Oracle Deck)
The primal deity of the ancient Mexican cultureis Ometeotl, whose name means “deity of duality.”
Represented singularly as Ometeotl—or in a female aspect as Omecihuatl and in male aspect as Ometecuhtli— this deity is the grand creator and creatrix residing in Omeyocan, the place of duality. Because Ometeotl was not represented in physical form, the deity did not have a specific
temple or dedicated festival. However, a multitude of prayers were addressed to Ometeotl.
When Ometeotl appears, you are reminded to connect with the divine force that permeates the entire world as well as with the same divine spark within you. This is an invitation to bring your entire being—your male and female sides—into balance. Ask yourself if you need more feminine or more masculine in your life to bring you into harmony.
