With New Mexico Zia Sun Symbol Design
Approximate Size: 5.5" (diameter) x .75" (thick)
(Size and shape differs slightly with each piece)
This beautiful selenite charging plate is accented with original artwork by Ramona Snow Teo.
The design is laser-etched onto the surface of the crystal, adding a unique work of art to nature's creation. These round discs are perfect to use as an energetic cleansing and charging device. Simply arrange your favorite small crystals or jewelry on the plate and leave overnight. Previous static and negative energies will be released from the objects and they will emit a clear and positive spiritual energy after resting on the selenite.
Laser-etched selenite crystals make an excellent unique gift for gem & mineral collectors, spiritual seekers, healers and loved ones.
Natural & Healing Properties of Selenite: A form of gypsum crystal, selenite is naturally formed on every continent in the world. It is a soft & easy to carve stone, partially translucent & white in color, with long striations running the length of its form. Selenite is named after the Greek goddess of the moon, Selene. It has a stabilizing, balancing and cleansing energy, and is a useful aid in accelerating the process of manifestation. A selenite crystal can be used to comb the energy field of a person, place or object to remove lingering negativity, anxiety or trauma and restore clarity and tranquility. This powerful stone brings clarity of mind and activates the seventh chakra, Sahasrara, which is our direct link to the Spirit. Meditating with selenite can assist in connecting with your higher-self, spirit guides, angels, spirit animals, etc.
About the Artwork: Created by New Mexican visionary artist, Ramona Snow Teo, this floral design is an homage to the New Mexico Zia symbol. This arrangement consists of a circle surrounded in each of the four directions with 4 parallel lines extending outward. It is pictured on the New Mexico state flag, but originated as a sacred sun symbol of the Zia Pueblo. The four groups of rays represent the 4 directions (north, east, south, west), the 4 seasons (spring, summer, fall, winter), the 4 parts of the day (sunrise, afternoon, evening, night), the 4 phases of life (childhood, youth, middle age, old age). It is a symbol honoring the sun and demonstrating its gift of the Cycles of Life.
